Re: VY PCM - 16269238
Good to hear mate, thats a huge difference!!
Re: VY PCM - 16269238
anyone know where the EGR DTC and CEL options are? I'd like to do away with all the EGR hardware in a transplant
Re: VY PCM - 16269238
Can anyone point me in the direction of lean cruise?
My sedan happy cruises @ 16.3 in lean cruise, however squeezing the throttle to accellerate AFR goe UP to 17:1
1700RPM, 26% Throttle, 360mgc, 16.3:1
1750RPM, 34% Throttle, 430mcg, 17.0:1
This results in a flat spot on accelleration, untill you give enough throttle to unlock converter then kick down.
I don't think envoking PE mode is neccessary, or ideal, but would liek to see whats going on with Lean Cruise target AFRs here.
Cheers

i had the same flat spot with my vs, i ended up cutting the top end of the table down in the lean cruise afr CYLAIR vs RPM, not sure if you have access to this or not.

That's where I was heading, however I haven't been able to (with my wealth of inexperience) locate this table.
Also, does anyone insight into Torque Management in these?
Any resonable increase in TPS at any time appears to result in Timing being pulled instantly then ramping back in, which severly hampers the responsivness.

Re: VY PCM - 16269238
Ive located for the vy s/c DLTK bin offset 0x44D5 contains the RPM after which torque control will be active (RPM=X*25). So 36*25= torque control only after 900 RPM. Make this 255 to set it to 6365 RPM and it should disable it for normal engine use. Be warned though that torque control is a complex beast on the late models and I havnt got my head around all of it. It may do unexpected things. Try this at your own risk in a safe environment.

Sounds like somethign worth a try.
Any possibility of you pointing me in the direction of the pesky little constant in the $06 NON-S/C code?

Re: VY PCM - 16269238
I think 0x44D5 is actually for traction control torque reduction. As antus mentioned, the torque reduction code is stupidly complex so can be hard to work out whats what. Will try and see what I can find too. Might be a case of just trying things.
Lean cruise AFR offset table is in a few places depending on the mask - in DKDC its at 0x7610, DSZT at 0x76AE and DTCF at 0x7677. Table is 15 columns (airflow) and 10 rows (RPM)
