Oh Crap, that sucks, do you think you can do a trade with a local trans builder?

Build coming along nicely. Shame about the valve body though.

thanks!

Just started rebuilding the input drum, about halfway rebuilding it, hit a snag, clearance between the snap ring and Forward Clutch Pressure Plate is 2.3mm, standard clearance is 0.75mm - 1.60mm, even after a pressure testing the pistons and rechecking everything in there it's the same. The pressure plates come in different thickness mine in stamped C so might have to hunt down a B stamp one which should bring the clearance back in range. Just fired an email off my trans guy about it.

Well i got a fair bit done over my holidays, apart from the pump it's ready to go back together.

Looking like the stator shaft will have to stay in there as i can't find a torx bit that is strong enough even buying some top end ones for $15 a pop resulted in twisted bits. The wear isn't bad on the shaft anyway and i have new spare bushes and seals so will redo them all. Asked the transmission guy and he can only get them out with a heavy duty snapon one with a rattle gun.

I have 100's of photos to go through and update the build log, will take me a while
