Re: Antusprom - tunerpro realtime via ALDL
Sounds like it will be well worth the wait ,nice work antus.
Re: Antusprom - tunerpro realtime via ALDL
I can't wait to see Antusprom incorporated in the flash tool!
This will complete a great set of software tools.

Does anyone no if antusprom can be used with 64k bins it only appears to work with 32k bins.
Also has anyone noticed that the flash tool v1.14 doesnt work with 64 k write bins.

i don't think the write bin feature works at all at the moment only write cal.
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

antusprom only emulates 0x8000->0xFFFF so that means 32k bins only. The flashtool version is written more generically to overcome this.

That new flash tool sure sounds good. Also holden 202 i meant to write that flash tool v1.14 wont write a cal file from a 64k bin. Only the older versions will.

fair enough, i only use the flashtool on $12P ecms so i haven't seen that issue!

You will need to use an older version of the flashtool, your using a 11S version (early beta) that will not be supported down the track as the cal area is still in the factory location which is not suited to TP's method of checksumming. The latest flashtool supports the new location that 11S cal will be moving to.vn5000 wrote:That new flash tool sure sounds good. Also holden 202 i meant to write that flash tool v1.14 wont write a cal file from a 64k bin. At me it has turned out it will be connected on PROLIFIC 2303 chipsetantus wrote:In order to use it, you will need a couple of virtual com port pairs, as well either a built in serial port, or a usb -> serial converter that supports the non-standard 8192 baud rate required.
prolific chipset usb -> serial adaptors are known NOT to work (and these are the cheapest most common type) and FTDI chipset devices are known to be good. You can check what you have by right clicking on the com port and choosing properites. If it says prolific you are probably out of luck. If it says FTDI you are good to go.
All these com ports should be numbered between 1 and 9. You will need to use device manager, check your com ports and make sure you have enough space for 4 new ones on top of the one for the ecu connection within this range. If you do not you can right click on any of the extra ports, click advanced and change the port number to 10 or above. Once you have sorted this out reboot.
