Re: VY SS Sedan auto
The 36lb super6 injectors arrived as well as the vz ls1 valley cover. No point fitting them yet though as I don’t like pulling shit off twice. Still waiting for the rest

Re: VY SS Sedan auto
Are you going forced induction?
What's the idea with the VZ valley cover(whats the differences)?

Re: VY SS Sedan auto
Yeah the plan is to eventually turbo it. The vz ls1 valley cover is just like the ls6 one. They revised the pcv to make it better. The ls6’s also had larger windows through the mains to help equalise crank case pressure

Re: VY SS Sedan auto
ahh nice, the cam specs are to suit FI?
Do you know what the part number is for the VZ valley cover, would be a good 1 to recommend to customers to upgrade.

Re: VY SS Sedan auto
The cam has been proven to work either way. Good in n/a or forced. A lot of people say there’s better profiles out there, but it’s just a well tried and proven cam. It’s the sloppy stage 2. No I’m not sure on the part number. I’m hoping it’ll reduce the likelihood of pcv oil ending up in the intake as well. On the stock ls1 set-ups they run a line from both rocker covers with no baffling. The one that seems to breath oil the heaviest is the one that the ls6 style eliminates. Plus the ls6 style is baffled. So what you end up with is crank case pressure being reduced via both a rock cover and the valley. I may even look into making a baffle on the drivers side rocker cover as well

Well it’s a straight bolt in job. A lot of guys from the states are saying the ls6 valley cover isn’t, so maybe we either got different blocks or the vz ls1 cover is different to the ls6

Re: VY SS Sedan auto
Now I just need to block off both breather ports at the rears of both rocker covers, as there not needed anymore
