Real Time Modded Factory Bins
Re: Real Time Modded Factory Bins
I guess the increased delay also allows more time for the exhaust gasses to mix, which would average short transient rich/lean conditions to some degree...

Re: Real Time Modded Factory Bins
This topic extends far beyond just transport delay! There is a fair bit of debate as to how much difference the cat makes, but the way I see it is the cat stores and releases oxygen as part of its conversion process, the wideband sensor reads oxygen content. If you also think about new vehicles with oxy sensors before and after the cats, the rear O2 sensors measure cat efficiency by seeing how the cat dampens the rich/lean swings of the closed loop process. So aside from the reduced speed of the AFR reading there may be some skewing of the actual AFR. I would like to see some logging done with a wideband before and after the cat, would be a very interesting comparison of AFR.

my 2 cents...... the hotter the sensor the more accurate, condensation kills em, and a quicker real reading on warm up (emissions - hence the heater).

Is the code in here any different/better than what's in OSE$11S beta that I'm using atm?
Cheers

Re: Real Time Modded Factory Bins
this is 100% factory BMZA tune with only changes added to allow you to write to it in realtime.
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Re: Real Time Modded Factory Bins
The difference is the 11S code your running has the write code added in as a new ALDL mode rather than patched in like these so it replaces an existing mode. Wont notice any difference in the day to day running as your using a BMZA cal anyway.
