its sounding very promising, good job!

ive got another quick question, do commodore high-impedance injectors fit straight into the factory manifold?

No they dont. Almost nothing does :( 95% of what does is low impedance. RB20, CA18, or 240sx injectors are the high impedance top feed nissan ones that do fit. We have found some other possibilities (Bosch 0280 150 788) but havnt tried them yet, They are in some 90s lancer/magna/pajero/tritons.

ive just done some research on the injectors, they are barbed top and need a new fuel rail to use with o-ring top injectors. on hybridz they seem to use an injector from a mercedes a fair bit, because its low impedance, higher flow and barbed inlet. but im pretty interested in using newer ev6 style o-ring injectors. apparently they fit into the manifold and there is a bloke in the usa making fuel rails for the standard efi manifold, but they suit 11mm injectors. im guessing this is the inlet and the outlet size, so using commodore 14mm injectors is a no-go. still, looks like there is some good aftermarket options on sites like injectorsonline.com.au.
