Aha !! Thankyou Google again. The Captain and Tenille were a recording artist couple, their hay days in the 60's to the 80's, much in the jenre of Neil Sedaka and Burt Bacharrak. In fact they sucessfully plagerised the music of Sedaka.

The lastest info on these shmucky krooners, now in their 70's, is they have recently broken up :o  So it's no more "Love will keep us together" or "Do that to me one more time".

Did you really listen to that stuff OZ, or do you still  :P ? What I can't figure is the connection between Captain Sweatpants and Tenille tho :? :? However the crypticness has been welcome distraction from recovery time and other pressing things in life, like possible redundency in ForestrySA...AND....after all it is VERY off topic and TOTAL %#$@ nonsence :P ;)

Cheers,

Glad to hear your on the mend, my wife went through a bout of that too...Ouch

Captain and Tenille ... popular for a while over here when I was "a kid" ... one of the worst, and probably my most least favorite songs ever is by them, called Muskrat Love, weird, never got it .... please do not listen to it, you will never forgive me

BTW; a Muskrat is a swamp dwelling big rat like critter, plentiful here in the states

Later
Mark

You blokes have made me look in a book (remember those?).
Are those Muskrats pretty promiscuous? It would make sense as some of their other titles include, "The way I want to touch you", "You never done it like that" and "You need a woman tonight".

Here in Aus, Muskrat love made it to the dizzy chart height of No.65 on Nov 22, 1976. :? Which means thats what someone was listening to while I was listening to Led Zepplin ans AC/DC! 8-)
Thanks for the tip Mark, I won't check it out!
:D Matt.

"BOOK" :o :? ?? Isn't that one of them thingies with paper pages and printed woids on them ?? Nice bit of research there Farmer.

Likewise Matt, was listening to more hard core stuff like Zepps, ACA DACA, Pink Floyd then later Aerosmith, ELO, Vanhalen.....so the Captain and Tenille can go "JUMP" once and for all. And their Muskrats can go fornicate elsewhere :P :) :P
