Hi guys,

Recently we bought a Lexus LS400; off Ross 2lDOHC, actually.

It's not a bad unit; condition is good for the k's, which are about 250,000 I think. The 1UZ engine is nigh-on bullet-proof and I've even heard of people putting serious boost thru them with no internal upgrades. I am currently running 0 boost with no forced induction, but in other words I wasn't worried about the bastard detonating any time soon.

Oh, but what's that knocking from the front end?

Chucked it at my local mechanic; needs a set of four ball-joints - two small lower ones and two upper ones that are integrated into the arms.

He said, 'you don't want to know the price thru Lexus'... but he was wrong, because I did. I got onto my mate Ace who works at a Toyota dealership.

I have an ABN, so he was happy to give me trade price.
