Obviously the dude had no idea it was an Isuzu.
I mean, yeah on our market it was a Holden Piazza, but apparently this car had the Holden brakes replaced... the name Isuzu doesn't appear anywhere in the article!
Apparently it was "Holden's answer to the RWD coupes we all love"... well, that's party true, but a "..sourced from Isuzu" line might have fitted well there somewhere.
Not to worry though; the S15 Silvia dash was a pretty good fit (although I'd recommend taking the Silvia badge off it) and the 1JZ Toyota motor was, well, insane.
