Yeah, well it's pretty wet alright. 206mm for the week (the first 'wet week' in a long while) is a fair bit for these parts. I know, thats just a heavy shower in Queensland, but the soils here just soak it up & saturate. To go out the back door I have to have gum boots - the soil is a soup! Can't drive anywhere but on the driveway - most unusual for summer. At least we're not out fighting fires, or being choked by dust though.
Washed out our Boorowa show though, which is a shame. First time in 123 years!
Belletts are all on hard surface though.
(except parts donors - mostly sunk to their bellies.)Not as wet as Bemboka though! Part of brown mountain road has fallen into the valley, and Bega has been cut-off again. And more rain coming, so says the weather man! How you handling it Broth & Monn?
