As seems to be the norm to post events front and centre on B'net happening thick and fast, here goes another one.

This streetshow started in our "hood" in 2010 off the curb near Gazza's place. It has run every year since then, growing from a few ring in's to more than 50 entrants. Gary who is a classic head, invites anyone in the neigbourhood to bring out their classic....always surprising what lurks in peoples sheds.

We always donate to a particular charity each year, this year going to spinal and muscular distrophy.

Yours truly got there late, amongst 10 day shifts, fires, family issues and B in law moving in for a while....oh and not to mention a COIL OF ALL THINGS leaving my GT temporarily stranded :geek: But managed to park near "ZOM" the pimped Suzuki 3 cylinder!!

Amongst many others, some favorites were a minta Premier, the "Ranie", an unmolested falcon ute and the same in s/wagon....check out the eyes

ENOUGH FALCONS !!! Here's some more REALLY cool stuff at Gazza's Nats, like "my neighbours Le Sabre", no, it's not haiku and I'm not sh$%#ting you. There was also a gent in his minta pommy Zodiac of all things. And yours truly was left parked last in the paddock next to this dude with a Chev Chevelle Malibu it was the pillarless 4 door, go figure. What a comparison.... :P :P

Enjoy,

B.

Thanks Mr. Flibbles. It's usually held on the same date, and just across the road from All American Day which is on the Tilley Oval in Surrey Downs. The plan was to go across to All American but got there too late. However the streets were blessed with Yank Tanks and a few made it over to Gazza's Show afterwards.

Bring an Isuzu next year, mate. And that goes for all yuz other Bellett fiends in the neighbourhood   The donation is $10. There is a sausage sizzle and drinks, monies also going to charity. Era music is pump'n and a great arvo all round.

Glad you liked it Redback.

In answer to your question, it was the day before this show i was fangin' around the place with brother in law, showin' off how good she goes, when we rounded a corner in second gear and something went pop and everything died. We coasted to a halt, the engine turned over without any strange noises and nothing unusual in the vitals on the dash. So we figured it was electrical. By the time RAA turned up we had diagnosed the problem as the coil, only to have them test to confirm. I could have jogged home several blocks to get the spare which was the original Bosch coil. But RAA was so prompt and carefull with a truck :o  :o Not like last time when I had so much grief from them. I think i was on file and they wanted to make good from the last debarkle which cost me a smashed fender

Old Bosch coil gives better sting and doesn't emmit a weird smell under load, so I figure the after market one i put in a few years ago had some issues anyway.
