We couldn't give it the home it deserved and we felt that " adoption " would be the best for all concerned. I am sure 'Daisy Belle " will settle in and live her life out happily in the Bemboka Bellett Retirement home. We parted on good terms and hope in the future to make the most of our visiting rights.

Well, its only from Kerry's to Gary's, could only be a few hundred ks. No problem!
This result makes my face like this.... :D :D
Can't wait to go for a ride!
Cheers, Matt.

I really can't believe that you towed all that with a Bellett.

Thanks heaps for the package Gary, it arrived today

Not that she couldn't do it. Back in the day I had a Bellett mate who broke down a lot.(Not the cars fault, he thrashed it in a most deliberate an horrendous manner!)
I would get the call and have to go tow him home...again! Flat towed if close, trailered if further.
The last time, he had catastrophic engine failure. No. 2 cylinder had jammed in the top of the bore and the piston collapsed. It kept going, but the bent Conrod caught under the bottom of the cylinder. This caused the crank to break, forward of the centre main bearing. It kept going ("I was trying to get home"), but the front half of the crank was free to move forward and destroy the timing chain cover. Then all the oil drained out, and the rear big end bearing siezed. That stopped it. (I can only imagine the noise all this made!)
When I found him, there was a trail of oil back up the road with broken bits of alloy in it. I towed him home again.

With all that, I never wore out a clutch.
Cheers, Matt.
