Hey Asroc 66 thanks for posting the piccies. Your sedans look great.

It's good to see more Bellet SEDANS getting the go-fast treatment. I'm just in the final stages of mating a GT twin carb manifold and extractors to a sedan aluminium head. You've beaten me to it. Well done, not a task for the feint hearted, given the different stud locations and different port sizes. Have you made any mods in the stopping department?

I can see that the Yellow Peril is going to have to get a make over to keep its self-bestowed title of "best late model Tasmanian Sedan"

Oh no..... What lays behind the magician's curtain
I am looking forward to discuss this in october over a few cold bevies
When I bought this car the rear had the original teardrop holes welded up
Panic set in as I thought oh no cut-and-shut
I went over ever spot weld in detail and came to the conclusion that was the first if the 66's
Windscreen supported this? As different to my orange 66.
It was also a Delux import so wondering if Japan just updated the end of the '65 tail
Or it was welded up and square tail lights fitted in Aus for sale purpose by the dealer?
I am sure you can all enlighten me

Hence I went more retro (especially when my dad owned a real early 65')
Cheers
James

Who else but Sticky would notice the 65 body with 66 interior ???
And i'm pleased that Donkey isn't of Tassie Origin or us Tassie sedan owners would have no show in the concourse event.

Your Bella is unique James, it will be interesting to see & ponder the reasons why. Whatever the reason, she looks really really good.
And Asroc, rocs! (Interesting name...)

See you at the Nats,
Cheers, Matt.

Hi
'Bella' is obvious and I realise not very origional however
'Asroc' was the name given to the 'Tangarine Machine' by my niece after a mythical female dragon in a book series she loves
I thought it quite fitting
Cheers
James

Ah-ha! And here I am thinking like, 'Corsa' backwards or something......
Mythical female dragon! I like that. 8-)
(Just be careful telling Stickman about female dragons, theres one in 'Shrek' that gets together with Donkey...)

Cheers, Matt.

Welcome James
you have yourself 2 very nice examples of the "Bellett" family there.
and the early series seems to be quite an unusual "cross over model" to boot
we all all look forward to meeting all of you Tassie crew and the cars real soon

cheers

Had my white 'Bella' and Rod's ?68 GT.
I am proud to fly the 4-door flag even if the GT's get all the attention
(Feel a bit like the less pretty sister)

Hi James and Rod
Sorry I couldn't be there. It's good to see a picky of them both in white. Thanks for flying the sedan flag James. I know what you mean... but I'm sure that sedans are a reflection of the more considerate, gentle, intellectual nature of their owners, Just look at Donkey for example.

GT's get all the attention???
You've obviously never seen what happens when Donkey parks in the middle of them
People be like.... GT's? what GT's?
or when we are driving in convoy they sit about 200m further behind to give people a chance to stop looking and pointing up the road after Donkey passes to then turn around and see the next car

Well 1 claim to fame of the 4 doors......
Quite a lot of people for some strange reason seem to tell me with pride how they have either conceived a child in the back of a a 4-door or rolled one!
Let the good times roll
