Does look nice, Josh. Sounds like you're going to some trouble - can be a lot of work cross fitting motors. (I once fitted a celica 18RGU & 5 spd to my wife's '65 Fiat 1800 - lotsa fun!). Any chance we'll see you at the nationals? Please show us more. Cheers, Matt. |

Keen to see some engine bay pics! The 2T-G must fill the engine bay quite nicely. Very cool. PS. What size are the wheels in that picture? |

You're not wrong there barney, its real tight!!! had to custom fab engine and gearbox mounts, and the bonnett will need a 80-100mm rise in centre to contain the whole thing. custom sump, custom inlet and exhaust manifold, but the origional bellett radiator will fit- with 20 mm to spare!!! the wheels are a seyt of 15's i found, off a late model ford laser. The tyres are a 195/55, and they just fit. had to do some serious mods to the bumpstops, and lower the front an extra inch to flaten out the wishbones.as i collect all my tech notes together, i'll post more |

hi guys, just a couple more shots of the primered engine bay. still matching paint, so its come to a bit of a standstill. not sure what model laser the wheels are from, and there is 5mm between the guard and the tyre, but as the weight comes on, the tyres move up and away from the guard....no worries!!!!
