Hi Pom B

I know you've got lots on just now but thought I'd put up another Riley from Tasmania for you - a 1937 Brooklands Special Replica.

Nice one YP, it's a bit like mine, but a lot smarter, I'll try and dig a pic out soonish. I wonder when all those Riley specials took the long journey to Aussie? In the meantime is a pic of the MG M Type special my father built in the 1950s.

When he bought it, it was just a load of bits in a few tea chests with no body. He's happy to admit he just "made it up as he went along" and I think it turned out pretty well, sadly you can't see the boat tail here but that's made from a Morris bonnet and a WW2 plane's drop tank!!
He still uses it regularly. Although I think that's a young me at the wheel in this pic!
