Hey Fellow Bellitians and car lovers, Cut to the chase.....a need to find a daily drive to replace what the Gov,nt need to cut about $6,000 out of my pay. Which means reduction in emergengy vehicle use by 1/2 Thank you Julia and a legacy to Tony A. for selling yet more of Australia to the rest of the world..... This Nova, Camry....no, Vienta.....no,no,no.....WTF Holden Apollo, JM spec Aussie built, owned by the father of a local cop was going to perish in 40 + Deg C for the next five years. Negotiate a price and drive away to get another ten years good service out of it, and avoid the crusher if it didn't sell. $900 and blesss the old Digger who drove it half mast for the last 8 years. Photos are after initially excavating the interior for a day and a quick hose off all the gum trees and other things living in it by now. And best of all it's a Holden, Konitchiwa

Thanks OZ. Yeah, motor needs breaking in even after 200,000 kms. A bit glaszed from the old fella driving around 40 to 70 kph for 8 years, then shut down and sat in the yard for another 3 and a 1/2 years under the blazing sun and very dirty, winter rains. Got the battery sorted and some mats and front seat covers yesterday. Also ran it around the streets....now starting to respond a bit better B.

OK Redzone, got that. Now looking for some Threebond Upper Engine Cleaner. If that's for the cooling system, then i have that covered as well. Top hose has a brittle core and needs changing before next summer. And it will need a good flush at a Holden/Toyota dealer. Oh, and oil change soon, can do that, easy on these. B.

Looks pretty original mate, we had one, but with the proper badges . Same colour &all. We sold it to buy Aunty Mary! Yours is in much better nik though. Motors are great, economical and ours used no oil with 360,000ks on the clock. Cheers, Matt.
