I got missing belletts a bit so I came back on to this forum. I figured I would post a link to my NSU build. It's a rear engined, air cooled car.. that looks an awful lot like a shrunken early corvair. My aim is to build it to look like the period race cars.. 8-9" wide tires.. big round flares.. that sorta thing. The car's got the 1200 cc motor.. which is the big one http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=108478&id=512322007&l=c3fb5f837eIf you're on facebook feel free to add me.. can't have too many like car minded folks on there Cheers, Andrew

Hey! Sweet little NSU...I was a big fan of Prinz's in my youth, nearly bought a Prinz 30 for my first car (Fiat 500 instead).
Is this the 1200C, with the longer wheelbase? The TT's and TTS's were short wheelbase, weren't they? Certainly hot little machines...are there many go-faster goodies available for them?
At the very least, you could make your own Munch Mammut replica with the engine!
Good luck with the resto, keep posting pics.
Cheers, Duane

Hi hudson Every now and then I peruse the second hand workshop manuals in a shop close to my work. They have a very nice cond. second hand manual on the 1957-72 NSU Prinz for the following models: 1, 2, 3, 4, 4L, Super Prinz and Sports Prinz. ( I hope you know what they all mean ) It has a price sticker of $39.95 on it . I don't know whether the manuals are hard to find but if you want I can pick it up for you . PM me your address details if you want it. If you want to know more about it I can have a closer look. Andrew
