BCCV had another visit to this museum on 26th oct 2013. We have been there before, many years ago and the place is constantly changing. Now has a new extension building out front also. Currently around 50 cars plus as much associated items and more, crammed in also. He seems to specialise in the more unusual cars also. Pretty cold day with showers threatening and coming later too. We only managed 3 Belletts which is unfortunate. Barrie and Trish, Steve and Peggy, Glenn and Milena. 1st real outing for the Sport too. Brett was also there in his road car with an 'excuse' that the Bellett was crammed into the back of his factory .......but promised will be out for Japanese day.

I was sure this museum was in the UK or America with the weird and quirky cars on display. Nice surprise. Thanks for posting photos. Cheers |

I've never seen a Briklin before in the flesh (the white car). This place had two of them. Don't know a lot about them but appears to be fibreglass body. Pretty poor quality too by the look of the samples there. |

actually hoping to have 3 of my own and Wal's black one out in Dec... if the 3rd one of mine is finished. will be at least the normal 2 and Wal's tho. wasn't going to spend 2 hours digging either the GT or the Wasp out of the factory for Saturday tho, only to spend another 2 hours putting them all back later... time just doesn't allow much at the moment, so the XR8 got the nod. Charlie's got a pretty interesting place and collection down there, and is well worth the visit if anyone is in town. thanks to those who came out, and cheers Glenn for the pics and write up. |
