Not an official BCCV Meet, but Glenn, Gavin and Peter (sorry no pic) took their Belletts to this annual even today. Last time we went (2 years ago?) the place was bursting at the seams and we had to park far away in the venue. (Yarra Glenn Racecourse). This time car numbers were down, maybe because of overcast skies. But a good collection of any thing you can think of. Bought back memories of cars I used o own in the 70's etc. EH Holdens, FJ's, even Skoda (my 1st car)

I missed the brand of this car but an interesting engine we looked at. Long bonnet and short engine with carbie on the rear of the head..... turns out it was a narrow angle (12 degrees) V4.

The Holden was 'interesting'. Again, running club permit scheme but heavily modified. V8 engine, tubbed rear to name a couple of things. These type of Mods are apparently under current review by Vic Roads with the view to having a new category of Club Permit for modified cars.

Gavin has loved these Volvos for a long time and is here posing with a very nice example.

All in all, a good day out. Gav and I got there about 9am and left after 1pm. There were still cars coming in the gates. Entry was only a gold coin and for that you got to see a great collection of cars and also got a free bottle of car polish. Can't go wrong really !

Looks like a good event Glenn, great pity not to many people even knew the event was on, maybe the club could have had a good showing

Hi Steve, Good event for sure. Lots of variety. Only saw it was on in Fridays newspaper though.

It must have been the day where my "Boxy Brown Car" fetish was in full force because I got pretty excited over this 280C ;)

Does it look like he has the BBQ under the hood, or is it just me.

TVR's are pretty rare. Nice looking cars too for what is a very low volume maker. I think they almost took up using the locally made (at the time) 5 litre Commodore V8 some years ago. Probably discounted on weight grounds.

This one reminded of the cars in "Foyles War" on TV. I wonder if two tone paint was actually used at that time?

Always a good turnout and good variety of cars. Was going to go this year, but had to shuffle cars around instead! Would have liked to have seen the 280C Glenn - any more pics? Same as mine except for colour!

Sorry Jason.
gavin took those pics. Maybe he has more. Nice car although the paint was a little dull. But rare to see one at all these days.

Was a nice event. I had thought we would see you guy's too. It was a last minute attendance for us as we didn't know it was on until Friday before.

I only have one more pic from a slightly different angle. Short of a little bit of a clear coat issue it was a lovely car.
