Today we went to qld motorfest i don't have photo's but it was a good day. With weather threatening us all week we had a drive as a back up plan. Qld does not have a bellett club as such we belong to the classic japanese car club and most qld and nothern nsw belletters belong to with another joining today. We experience a lot of flack They think we are trying to overrun the club with belletts so wise cracks go from brand to brand in fun all day and every time we meet. Today saw 3gt's,3 wasps and 2 sedans. All up we had a club display of close to 40 cars.word was that over 800 cars were on show. oka did a bellett count and worked out we could get a bellett show in the mid 20's with the local cars . Some club members want to come to our nats also We are discussing a bellett hire service . |

That was a great day out Many thanks to Greg and Lizzy for the pleasure of a drive their very tidy little Bell' (but I dare not tell Donkey that I spent the day with Napoleon) Seems we all forgot our cameras though There were some truely beautiful cars there, among my favourites were ALL the little Austin 7's, an extraordinary restored original 68 HK ute which won best comercial vehical, a couple of super ratty and old school Riley's, a crackin Citroen SM (super machine) and a string of Belletts almost all in a row And I'm a proud new member of the CJbCC (Classic Japanese 'Bellett' Car Club) |
