I have been advised by a cjcc member that the bellett influence in the club is too strong and is supposed to be strongly supported by some other members. As a trip leader I have removed these events.[not as a committee member] You will notice the birthday party and the nationals have been removed from the run sheet.
Next Easter is to early to comment ATM but will still happen as the icca are running the event next year.
The qld events will still be happening but as invite only. Can you email me direct if you wish to be involved. I can then reply details for Isuzu related events. srtowing@live.com.au
The date will still be 17 august as planned.
The nationals road trip also will be invite only.
Greg

No joke with correspondence letters starting without prejudice it is not something to joke about. This is only 1 of many issues.

No this has not been considered.

2 existing clubs are able to cover this event on a visitor basis. I can run the trip and invite non members along as guests.

I heard a rumor that;Due to the new anti-association laws introduced by the Newman government it is now illegal to start, join or be a member of any kind of Bellett car club within the state of Queensland. It is also illegal for two or more Bellett club members to meet in a public place or attend any Bellett related function. As far as your badges and patches go you'll probably be looking at 25 years in solitary confinement.

sorry to hear about all of that goings on, Greg.

it has been said that there is more politics in Clubs of various types, than there is in the hallowed halls of Parliament !
cause those who cant get to the Great White House on the hill, practice in the clubs of the local communities!
with some real damage often being done in the name of building their own Kingdom.

hope it settles down ok

Its hard to believe that a Club would chastise a group of passionate car owners!!
Why not try and encourage other members to get as passionate about their cars.
Hold it up as a example of what a group of TRUE enthusiasts are like.

I don't get it either. :?
Heres an  - Said members that are scared of Belletts could buy a shyteload of other makes and out populate yez!
Or if they had any brains, get with the strength! ;)

Methinks a solution exists in another thread. All the best with it mate,
Cheers, Matt.
