Here you go....the owner of this car is still digging through about 3 metres of volcanic ash looking for his pride and joy. Last seen 1964 at the Rabaul Yacht Club, New Guinea. Never know, they might find it in a million years and the engine still turns over but there's no fuel. Us old fossils won't be round either......oops, sorry girls

Then a change to 1300. Bozojo had originally put it up on facebook and rang me to tell me that he did. I told him I wasn't on facebook and he suggested that he would put it up on the forum. Now I know what he was looking at. 1964 I think was the year Rabaul was covered in ash from a volcano erupting.? Going to check that out. Will advise. Dave. |

Although the volcano had exploded numerous times before and was billowing hot ash for years prior. It had erupted a few times as well. Dave. |
