I have seen one fuzzy picture of this and i can't read the dimensions.
What are the bolt spacings on the drum brake stub axles.
Im trying to set up a 5 stud conversion.

Cheers

I assume you want the dimensions of the 4 holes in the stub axle casting:-
pretty sure this is a drum braked stub axle. Actually, as far as I am aware, they are all the same anyway?

I drew this up yonks ago for a TP Magna caliper i think it was. But you should be able to get the dimensions of the bolts holes from it for the axle itself.

The 'square' section is 95mm wide by 100 high.

Okay, so i have Toyota, Mazda and Nissan caliper mounting dimensions.
Can I find bloody Commodore dimensions anyone would think its a big secret. Sheesh.

Oh well I keep looking, scheming and planing.
Toyota calipers are looking good at the moment due to their cheapness.
Nissan would be ideal if the hubs fitted but since I can't lay my hands on any at the moment it will have to wait.

Have a good night everyone.

Things are looking positive.
Might have to do some machining of some hubs to fit bearings.
Hopefully once a definite check has been made of stub diameters for bearing IDs then the hubs measured to ensure sufficient material to allow machining then off to the workshop.
Soon to have 5 stud Ford pattern front disc brakes :D
I hope ;)

any particular reason to convert to 5 stud? Machining anything off the stub axle is not good idea.

No machining of stub axles, machining of hubs.
Want Ford pattern on the front to match the rear.

U have to go the whole 9 yards.
Or maybe just "9 inches".........

Though it may well be possible to drill extra stud holes to create the correct pattern on the rear axles.

I'm going the whole 9 yards.

Cheers Rob
