Hi Guys

I am ordering an MLS Head Gasket from Thomas 4 Parts

He can get them made up takes 1 month $265 plus postage

The only other Gasket set kit I could and have got is from MDS Gaskets in Melbourne but this is for the G200 W and the only difference is the Graphite Head Gasket to suit the 87 mm Bore.

Anyone interested in ordering a MLS Gasket ???

Minimum order is 2

Not sure if i am right here.... i think the Bellett 1800SOHC gasket can be used on the DOHC engine? Chev Luv are often available on ebay if you only need head gasket. This one does not have the section around the cam chain area, but it supplied as a separate gasket i think.

Hi Glenn

That Gasket looks different

Heres a picture of mine compared to a copy of yours -- shold have put some white paper underneath for better contrast

Quick Question -- are the sohc Heads only 8 bolts?

there seem to be some differences in hole size mainly ? Although, two extra holes also

The LUV seems to have an 'odd' shape (not circle) around the bores, yours does not.

I have another LUV SOHC gasket here also which has the 'extension' for the timing chain area.

Afraid I don't know how many bolt holes are used.

Heres some pictures

Two of the Early Blue Top Twin Cam

and two of a Green Top

Glenns SOHC almost fits the Green Top except for an extra hole required top left but does not fit the blue top which is very similar to the red top G200 W

Green top head is different again with extra water on the Intake side of the head

Regards Flying
