As far as I'm aware the alternators are Isuzu specific. The sedan and GT all shared the same models at the year change. eg. '65, '66, '67. Although my GT has a different one again, possibly due to the engine being SOHC. Mounting brackets. I've taken all my alternators to an auto electrician to have them overhauled etc. You can still buy brushes for them as well as bearings. And if the shop is a well established, (old school repair shop), they may be able to clean up the commutator as well. This way it also retains the wiring harness plug as standard. If your unit is dead, someone will have a spare to get you out of trouble.
Dave.
