ok so...im chasing the max power i can possible get out of a g200w and be somewhat reliable..idont want turbo or a supercharger just a bombed out NA engine. Has anyone got like a race g200w engine and know how much power its making or know the most i could get out of one of these engines? |

no idea really, but I would imagine you would need a cam shaft change to get more power (at higher revs) |

just trying to figure out if its worth spending thousands on my g200w or just put a 13b or a s2000 engine in it. i want power and love to keep manufacturers engine not some other brand but if the g200w's are slow as then i wont waste my money! |

Only you can know what to spend ! Personally, I would keep the G200w in it. It should have good low down torque, compared to the other 2 engines and in everyday driving, that's what counts. If you plan on racing, then thats another story. How fast do you want to go $$$$$$$$$ |

I would have made that decision before painting engine bay. |

nah doesnt matter about the engine bay this engine bay has been modded to fit anything...i think i could fit a small block v8 in it if i wanted to but im not. Itll be used for some race times..doesnt have to be to streetable ive owned very unstreetable cars before and it doesnt bother me..just when i put the foot down i want it to go fast and sound awesome! i will probably keep the g200w as i have and efi setup for it with handmade jap extractors, new full rebuild kit, and a pair of roller barrel throttle bodies for it...so i have basically most of the parts i need for it...but the only thing steering me away is how reliable these are as parts are hard to get...and how well do the headgaskets hold up and in between cylinders looks very small and prone to blowing! and also that it will make less than 140hp at the wheels. |

140hp @ rear wheels should be do-able on an unmodified head. As a guide, my previous G200w made 112rwhp, the only mods were a VN throttle body, an old haltech and a crap set of 4-2-1's. |
