i think the answer is, yes and no. Yes it will bolt up as far as i know. BUT the starter is on the wrong side. I have seen this overcome by cutting out a section on the other side for the starter. A little ugly. If the piece from the left side was then welded in there, it would be better but possibly expensive to get done. The front section of the housing can be swapped over with a deisel rodeo box though. Exact model of Rodeo i am unsure but there is a thread somewhere on here about it. >>> page 80 of the Rollie thread. glenn |

Hi Guys, Happy New Year Glenn is right. A Gemini gearbox starter motor mount is on the opposite side to Bellett. Correct me if I am wrong forum, a piazza or late model 117 5 speed box has the starter on the same side and bolts up correctly. Beware also that a GeminI clutch pressure plate does not fit onto a Bellett flywheel. A Gemini has 3 locating pins compared to a Bellett with 2 pins. The clutch driven plate for a GeminI has 24 splines compared to a Bellett with a 10 spline gearbox input shaft. Dave, are you wanting to put a 5 speed into your blue Bellett? Cheers, Lewis |

it's a long time since i put a new clutch into my GT (Dave's GT now) but i think the whole setup was MGB. Lewis, i just checked Vicroads plates for 'PR60' and nearly fell off the chair. $1995 ! |
