car back from auto electrician running a bit rough checked the dizzy cap corrode also the leads going into the cap all green corrosion wonder it ran ..so I am to get a gh506 dizzy cap ...correct ?? the leads will I have to make up a set or can you buy at repco /supercheap ?? any other model that suit would appreciate your help .im a muso cheers davo should I just do the pulsar n12 conversion ?? and do away with some failing bits ?? |

Davo you can measure the leads or take with you to Repco or Supercheap, the sell them as single lead. don't forget the coil lead as well. Geoff |

While your at it. Check your rotor for corrosion on the tip. Have a look at the points and see if there any 'tits' on the face. If there is. Clean them up with a points file as a tempory measure and replace them with a new condensor as well. There's a earth wire on the points base that looks like twisted horsehair in a fibreglass sheath. Check the terminal ends for any fractures in the wire. Your auto electrician may be able to make you 1 or try your local Nissan dealer for a early N12 pulsar. If not successfull, pm or ring me and I'll try to get you 1. Good to know you've got your car back. Dave. |

Forgot to tell you. Supercheap will have a listing on the parts. I think GH506 is now GH520. But. Check their books under early Chev. LUV if none on Bellett. Dave. |
