   | Hi I didn't notice this little tube & fittings till I removed the oil separator,what does it do? equalizing tube?

   | yep, feeds oil, under pressure, from the block to the valve gear in the head.

   | Figured I add this to the what does it do post, is this for the battery tie down? or tell me where it's supposed to go, maybe if someone could get a photo of one installed?

   | could be the tightening clamp that sits under the carby tightens the cleaner onto the mouth of the carby ...my two bobs worth .... davo

   | see acting stupid on stage is one thing ..being stupid is another ...now im thinking why did I sell my little car I have pics of the so called immaculate one .     ah well  but I must go and look sometimes under that dust n dirt ..we shall see ..oh the carby thing ..yea guess it was like on the old sideplate  holden  air filters and the falcons had it as well ..did I tell you my dad was a panelbeater /painter in the era of those bits ..guess I retained the knowledge ..geez life is a learning experience ...davo
