I've searched and cannot find it, so. What is the head bolt tension for the standard G150 in the Belletts? Cheers Rob |

Hi Rob I think I recall standard is 7kgm = 50 ft lbs I go higher to about 9-10kgm = 68-72 ft lbs Depends on 'feel', Belletts have heapem big head bolts. Best to - clean out the thread with a tap - use Assembly lube on the thread and under the head Bolt (at a push could use engine oil but not quite as good) Cheers J |

I'm going back a long time, but the G150 has two head bolt sizes if I recall, 17mm for the 3 Bearing and 19mm for the 5 bearing, so I would assume two different settings, be careful about overtightening. Ted (Teditor) Freeman |

Tis good 67GT Wish it was easier to clean the head and block of the accumulated gunk. 40+ degrees then constant rain ... blah. Hard to get anything done at all. Head is nice and clean now. Next is to clean bolts and rocker gear, then if I can get some fine weather, the block. Cheers everyone |
