Hi Davo,
I think you are right about dealers putting stickers on the rear windows like my white GT Lily. My mums blue teardrop had one but I can't remember whether it was a dealer's name or "Bellett". You could put a "Bellett.net" sticker on :) to make it look similar to what you remember. Dave from SA may have some.

Have seen that sticker or decal on the rear bumper on some cars. I tried to take a picture of a similar decal on Steve Thompson's
sedan. All I got was a reflection of my ugly mug and the camera. It looks like it was burnt into the bar ( the decal. not my ugly mug) ;) and a coat of clear over the top.
Have 3 or 4 rear glass's stacked away. Will check tomorrow.

Dave.

Dave M, Dave W is absolutely correct in telling you that the sticker you are talking about IS indeed permanently etched into the rear bumper of my sedan, it is extremely hard to photograph but I will indeed try for you. Che ed rs Steve.

There were dealer stickers on cars. As said, some still exist.
I have pics of an Esquire Motors one (the Elsternwick dealer mentioned) and a Martin Distributors one from Adelaide that actually mentions Bellett, Wasp, Elf and Colt.

How about a concerted effort to Post, in this section ,pictures of as many different Dealership stickers as can be found . I am sure that members have cars at home and in storage that may still have the Dealer's sticker on the rear window or where- ever . The actual stickers ,the link to the Dealerships of a bygone era , probably will not last forever but a photographic record may.
