Been so much great reading on here lately, from GT's coming out of paint shops to GTR's coming in to the country and sedan's on the move, Son of Gerry say's time for you to contribute, so here goes the story of a trip to the south side of Brisbane a few weeks ago. We met up with our trusted navigator in a PR 90, met the rest of the crew at hotel car park south side of Brisbane and went to a great charity car show. The Bellett's all parked together and got plenty of lookers out of over 300 cars, after a breakfast and a good look around at all the cars,it was time to go on a 80min cruise out to the port of Brisbane. That's when the GREMLIN started, half way into the cruise my GT started to miss finally loosing power, stopping on side of the road, thought it was fuel, cracked a fuel line, plenty of fuel, then asked the one who's just bought the new GT to hold a plug lead NO WAY, so cleaned dizzy cap, points ,no go.By this time the Bloke in Stubbies and Thongs arrived, where's your test pencil, at home, so's mine, not to worry bit of wire from fuse box on to coil away we go, lesson for everyone, all enjoy. Last weekend took ign switch out of another Bellett, sure this was the problem, NO, stole Pinky's coil as the coil was leakin a little oil, NO, took back off fuse box loose wire,Yes Was a very warm day that day called in to see the Blue Tear Drop, glad the GREMLIN didn't jump out, as he had been to Brisbane and back or worse could have been Ken the carpet snake. I think the GREMLINwould be a better colour match to a great looking GTR thank's for the photo's Dave

Nice line up!
Bruno has started calling my GTR 'The Frog' due to it's all-encompassing green-ness. I've got nothing on your mate though!

Hi Glenn, sure was a lot of cursing that weekend with the windscreen, thought after a year rubber would mould into shape, push screen out, and have another go at putting trim in,might practice on Pinkyhave done a few sedans, thick footy socks on with my Dad years ago, just need spare screen and a camera as your feet break the screen Geoff the frog GREMLIN had been visiting the GT for a while, we kept moving him or her on and thought it had left,so on return from Brisbane we left it down in the Deluxe

That frog must be a tough little critter. Did you have any problems in closing the door.?? The first pic. shows a imprint on the panel that looks like the foot of the frog. Ah/la. Don't close it yet untill I'm in a good position and wont get squished. Dave.

The sedan I had at 'Coona' was originally Polenesian Blue. The owner that I bought the car from painted it pink. My kids give it the nickname 'Miss Pinky'. The daughter later changed it to 'Miss Piggy'. That was because her best friend had a green Subaru and its name was 'Kermit'. So there you are, there are afew PINK Belletts aboit. Dave.
