Hi Guys, Thought I would create separate topics for each question incase people need to search the forum for it in the future. I am trying to figure out what size wheels I can fit under the wheel arches of a 1974 Isuzu 117 Coupe PA95 XT (Yes I will keep stock + hub caps in warehouse for certain events). The car came with the original factory hub caps and I measured the current steel rims and they measured +35 offset. Wheels: Watanabe Type R Now the rears I wanted to fit the widest 15x8/8.5/9 with +0 Offset if I can as the rear guards are naturally pumped out already. The fronts well thats the headache I think, as with the +35 offset of the stock steelies the wheel literally sits on flush with the guard (attached image to see the difference between the front and rear) and I doubt I can fit 15x7 +20 offset unless the hub & double wishbone can be changed :S Any info is greatly appreciated as I don't want to order the wrong wheels. Regards Pete

A 15x7 wheel with +20 offset should fit no worries as the more positive offset you have, the deeper inside the arch the wheel sits. I you go a +0 offset or a negative offset the wheel will have more dish and sit further out toward the arch. |

Warren, who flagged you down, is a wheel & tyre bloke. I'm sure he would enjoy a test fit with some options. Should be plenty available as they are the same pattern as Datsuns. I personally wouldnt mess with the wishbones, parts are rare. Please dont think of flaring the guards, those lines are so sweet! Cheers, Matt. |

Surely its $680 for the set, though there is a 1 in the quantity box. Not a pleasant seller by the blurb. I'm not a fan of black wheels, but to each his own. There are heaps of choices that would fit under the stock guards. Cheers, Matt. |
