Well done Paul, sorry I didn't catchup with you on the day. I was going mad taking a few photos (894). We'll have to catchup. Maybe a weekend trip out to Heinze Rd wreckers ?

Here are some pics of the Show and Shine at Shannons Insurance. Sorry it took so long to put them up! It was great to see so many cars in the one place! The pictures are in no particular order but highlights and special mentions include: Seeing two 1969-model cars - a sedan and a GT together next to each other! Cheers Rod for bringing that freshly re-minted GT over all the way from Tassie! Attachment:

BIG THANK YOU to my wife Sarah who cooked a BBQ for around 60 people! Three cheers for Sarah! Attachment:

To explain the presence of Antus' Gemini; I explained in an open letter to the Isuzu Club of NSW that while I'm quite partial to the Holden Gemini (I own a TD-model panelvan), the event is for Belletts, although other pre-GM Isuzus have cropped up from time to time and I would be partial to entries from Florians, 117s and even Chevy LUVs, should the request arise. However Antus is crucial in the engine room of this forum and fixes any problems that crop up. So we put the car on display, but please note that when the Belletts filled the car park his Gemini was kicked out! Also, doing this meant that he freaked and cleaned up his car, put in some carpet and even a rear venetian, so now the car looks better than it ever did!!! Attachment:

The rest of the photos will just play out in whatever order. Enjoy! Cheers, Dave

AHHHH, It's got to be "how many Belletts" !! Never to late Dave, I think this will go on a long time. Lots of special moments for me too and everyone else for sure. Antus is always welcome and great to see he didn't have to park way out on the street Gav is pacing the footpath thinking "which one can I drive next". And yes GT's can be red Just a horn line up of sedans. To think these little buggers are still moving people across OZ. A tear in the eye for the shot of three guest sedans leaving the border. Hope all ya got back home safely by now. Yes, the family has been in overload since last weekend, but I'll down load pics soon. Signed, Captain Chamoiseeeee

Great pics guys, it was great to see all those belletts together in one place, perhaps next time some one will throw a florian in the mix! I have to admit that seeing them all together again and remember the driving i have done in one of the litle beasts that was there, it really makes me want one again... might have to cut back on all my other cars and get one!
