Hi people, I've put this in "General Bellett Chat" as it's more a topic of discussion than a genuine opportunity to purchase a rare car...! Unfortunately, it won't be clarifying the whole PR91 vs PR91W argument. The advert purports that it is a genuine car.... but alas only someone with giant balls of steel would even consider getting stuck into this one... Can see the original advert at: http://page13.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/r66217585Attachment:

Currently at 0 bids with a start of Y100,000 (about $1300). Not only does it contain the Engrish gem 'travel distance obscurity', meaning the mileage is unverifiable, this one even says the colour is 'obscurity' because at some stage it was rubbed back and left to rust. Poor PR91W!

It just so happens that obscurity is my favourite colour! All my old bands seemed to fade into it.

There is enough in parts to make it worth the effort, let alone the chassis/body rarity. wish i had a spare 5K

Yeah, you'd want a few spare weekends allright, but I've seen worse cars done. A mate recently sold a '68 Monaro that wasn't as complete(!) for 10 grand! And they're more common. How's that work? Cheers, Matt.
