Does anyone have a current part no for timing case seal for g161 Bellett? Tried the two numbers this thread, no luck. |

Hi Isabell Grand Tourer If the seal is the same as the G150 motor, part no. is: 400810N Burdsons Auto Parts stock them and they appear to be a common size. When installing it you will find it easier to heat the timining case in an oven at around 80 to 100 degrees C as they seem to be a tight fit. Find a good size socket as a drift and knock it into place. I found it a tight fit and hope I don"t have to remove it again. YP |

Geoff. GM part number. 94020262, ISUZU is 5096250790 & 9099242960, CBC & REPCO c6539. ACL NJ014 or timing cover kit ACL tc4 and just use seal. Put gaskets from kit in a place where you'll forget that you put them there, and you will find them when you are looking for something else. Believe me. I'm doing it all the time. Fits the following engines. g150 5 brg. mains, g160,161,161s,161z,180z,200z. As you can see, very common in the Isuzu engines. Not sure if it will fit any of the DOHC engines. Would be surprised if it doesn't. Dave. CQGT. I'm the Dave with the convertible. |

Like your signature Dave, gotta keep all these Daves sorted. What is it about Belletts & blokes called Dave?? Even my mate Dave who isn't particularly a fan of Belletts has managed to find 2, and a chopped Florian, in the local area where I haven't turned up any! Show & tell, convertible Dave! (Thanks for adding in the numbers) Cheers, Matt. |

BULLITT. Would like to accomodate all Bellett fanciers with a piccy of 'THE RED BARON', (That's what my late Mum referred it as.) but I'm trying to steer this keyboard verrry slowly 'till I get the hang of using it. As Isabell Grand Tourer has mentioned, all going well, as I have camcover leaks to fix and timing worries to handle, he will be there at Coona. Your part number for packing,11312-037, is the gasket for the timing cover.( 3 main brg crank ). Not the seal. Dave. |

The 3 brg has a felt seal with a plate that holds it in place with 2 or 3 screws. The later case does fit the early engine with a slight mod that has past from my hard drive . |

Geoff, Glad to be of assistance. I have been collecting parts books on Isuzu for quite some time. These include LUV, Chev. LUV truck[America], UBS Jackaroo,Gemini Aust., PF 50-60 [Japan], as well as Bellett and Wasp. My occupation is spareparts in the auto industry. I've been collecting any info on parts for Isuzu since about 1967. Be it sedan, ute, lite truck or heavy. More the smaller vehicle range.. Davo, Your parts list must be for the early 3 brg crank engine. When isuzu upgraded the donk to 5 brg. there were a large amount of changes made. Front and rear seals for crank and also a re-designed 2 piece sump is only part of it. Cheers. Dave. |
