Thanks for joining & showing & please show more. Fantastic when another car appears 'out of the blue' like this!
I've met many of the above people at the 2009 nationals & can vouch for them being top blokes - friendly & helpfull.
Welcome, Matt.

Sorry for the delay in replying

Yes I am working on it when time permits

I did debadge this car in 1978 for a cleaner look, put on a 66 rear number plate trim with no name, even removed the badge from the grill.

Quick history on the car: Bought in 1978 from a guy who i think was the service manager at Dick Martin Motors his kids were driving it to Flinders Uni at the time. He told me it was Dick Martins wifes car. The car was originally sold 21-6-67 to Charles P at Fullam according to the service book.
When i got it was in the original olive colour with the fog lights, wing mirrors hub caps, plastic still on the door cards -- original.
Car was in need of a respray ans as I didnt like the olive I painted it Prism Silver from a Honda Civic.
gt mirrors and hub cap were swapped to my 68 sedan and then sold. That was a great car with a lot of hot up parts from a guy at Seaford who raced a bellet --Wayne Sutton?
The GT ten got an engine upgrade with a visit to Chris Milton wild cam, head port, side draught 45 weber on an adapted 1500 Lynx manifold. went like a rocket but the economy went from 42 mpg on the open road to 25 --oh well
Ran that set up for years until the enginge went bang. rolled it into the shed and there it sits. The next phase is a g180 zzr but I haven't got my head around the Fuel injection possibly hunting a computer Hay need help from fourum. As I said earlier - hope to get this up and running by Bay to Birdwood time

Regards

Post subject:  Re: My Bellett

Yes its a g180 w

My dilema is :
do I go with a carby setup from an old 117
find the remainder of the wiring loom and ecu (pf60?)
or do i try to fit this other set up that may be from a gemini -- it comes with the wiring loom and ecu that says Nikki diesel. Is this a Diesel injection unit?
I'll include the 3 photos

I also have the 5 sp gbox remote shift is this a straight swap for the orig or do i have to change the gbox mount and prop shaft length?

Post subject:  Re: My Bellett

you will need
1x n13 pulsar running multi point
1x vl commo fuel pump
1x eb falcon fuel rail
1 x g series dizzy
1x rb gemini dizzy

Author:  gt orphanage [ Thu Apr 21, 2011 9:12 am ]
Post subject:  Re: My Bellett

1 st thinG to do is remove the dizzY from the twin cam as you need the drive gear and the length of the twin cam shaft, now strip the g series dizzy and cut the shaft to the same length lock the centrifical and vacume advance as the ecu will now take care of these. You will need to shim the gear as the shaft is thinner than the gear. Next thing is to fit the guts of the rb minus the module, cut both wires to the module add extra length to the and have them external to the dizzy. [rb module no longer needed]. Now remove the pulsar dizzy take off the cap there will be 2 6mm screws retaining the module with 2 external plugs and 1 internal plug with 2 wires 1 yellow 1 green cut these two wires and remove the module, you need to solder thes wire as the gemini pick up will control the pulsar module. [ this module can be mounted where you want we end up putting Geoffs on the inner guard as when we were in coona we were frying them on a plate i had it on off the engine] this needs to have heat sink between the module and the bare metal. We now have isuzu talking to a nissan ecu from here on we are mostly nissan.
The next thing is the injectors 1 is high and the other is low impendence so remove the isuzu injectors take off the o rings and remove the retainer plates, now remove the o rings from the pulsar and fit the plates and refit the o rings. Now the fuel rail will not fit get the eb fuel rail the distance between the injectors are the same so cut the rail to pick up on the 2 middle injectors now cut both ends off to match the outer injectors and braize it together i ran a return line back before the fuel pump, which is a vl commodore mounted near the tank. Geoffs car has a couple on fittings to take the return line and go to a larger pick up. We are not running a swirl pot or serge tank and maintaining 38 psi fuel pressure.
