gerry gt and wife leslie called into today to check out my little car which i am getting organized for merrimbula , thanks again for the deluxe bits it sets the blue off will get some shots over next few days believe you had a good bellett chin wag at banyo ..russell wouldnt hold the spark leads ..dont blame you mate dont trust em nice to have you call in in your lovely gt ..my daughter saW IT GO PAST (SHES 9) dad dad quick come and have a look at this car at the end of the street ....it was gerry and wife they got lost and asked 2 blokes where my street was they said ...you lookin for davo he loves belletts ...its all out there guys keep em interested and all those back yard left behind ones will be ours or new members cheers davo

Davo i have the indicator lense from mr potter for you, and it took a bit but i found the bonnet badge i have spare when i head your way around the 5th of next month i will deliver both. unless you want the posted before.

hi guys ive lost it ( yea years ago) someone told me the colour of the air cleaner (blue)( yea)they said it was an off the shelf paint so i wont have to get it mixed if anyone wants the formulae for the yellow fan colour i have it looks great nice and new thats what i want to do to the air cleaner and / oil thingy ....cheers davo

hi guys i am madly getting the little blue mac hine into a clean little car hours of work hours of ....your dinners on the table ...just 5 mins more ..half hour later ..the teas cold and so is the boss ..ah well back to the shed will post some shots in the next few days cheers davo ..keep at it ..oh no its school hollidays ..

hi guys lewis and donna called in yesterday we spent a few hrs belletting and i had the one on one opportunity to go over his lovely pr90 what a nice little car its a credit to them a 20 yrs ago restore ...is not showing it worse for wear look lewis explained to me the rear side window problem on the coupes and what hes made up solves all future re-occurences ...thats 2 gts in my street in one week ......should i get one ...yea the missus said youll get one allright ......a divorce ......thanks again guys good experience ..cheers davo ...i will still plod along with my 66 ..............love it .........

:oops: Davo I have'nt found the crank handle yet,but I've got 2 of those short brake lines,
if you need they are in the boot of the GT,also your hammer is with Ken the carpet snake
in the Deluxe,if your down this way,Ken was under the bonnet last week so put the hammer
drivers floor,the cars lookin GREAT :D

hi guys probably told you gricey gave me a crank handle while i was down at albury , and a wiper motor , didnt have get checked by security at the airport farmer is organizing a pully for the crank handle thanks guys ......cheers davo

hey Davo. when you do up your crank handle, does it have the timber end or what...not even sure what goes there.

hi lizzie they dont have a wooden handle on them kerry sent me an email of where it sits in the boot and it shows the handle i must get my girls to reshow me how to post photos ..i think that farmer may have one i have to put on the attatchment on the harmonic balance yet to make sure i can knock all my knuckles when it kicks back takes me back to an old ford 10 prefect i had once (yea i know im old ) see how you go unfortunately i have no spare cheers davo

Hi friends,
Here's the Cranky handle in situ. This one is in Doris' boot, and I don't think I have any others,
(My column shift didn't have one.) Held on with springy clips like hold hoses in some applications.

Might not be too hard to make. Heat & bend a piece of rod, drill a hole & knock in a roll pin. Maybe?

Wasp should have one clipped to the inside back of the cab.

hi thanks greg its amazing what a set of supercheap spanners can do . i will keep at it till you offer to panel and paint it for me for a xmas present ....yea ...ho ho ho ....cheers davo you are an inspiration to us i know you are running out of restores ......then again ...you could allways chase up the express i believe its running around again as a taxi in the island of bali cheers mate
