Wouldn't be hard to convert it to RHD with a few bits lying around and
turning the dashboard insert upside down :)
Looks to be a very tidy car as well
Cheers, Lewis

Indicator stalk wrong as well :?

The indicator stalk is mod of the former owner; an isuzu / skoda dealer. To change dim lights in some combination. I can't remember it exactly. The car is really 100% original (also the 23000 km). I found it in the ninetees and almost bought it. I let it go because I wanted the 2 door version. Quess they will ask a fortune for it.

So I ended up with a 2 door with work

By the time I got into Belletts all teardrops in Holland were gone. From 68 on the belletts were all "de luxe's" with chrome strip. Once I saw a standard type; there was not even clothing on the floor; just plastic ... Can't recall if that car had chrome strip. I'm going to leave the strips off my car as I like the car better without them.
I have another pic of the 4 door sport from a magazine it was covered in. But can't seem to upload it because it is a bitmap. For the real interested; it is on my web page too.

groetjes Dick

Dick, is that undercoat/primer or the final paint coat you are laying on there ?

Do you have a paint mix for the Bellett white ? (Mews white i think it's called?)

Post subject:  Re: 1970 BELLETT SPORTS 4 DOOR

It's an epoxy primer mixed in the right color. I'm spraying in stages; front, roof, back and doors/bonnet ....
I don't like the hard white on a bellett myself, so I choose an off white color; championship racing white which is the Honda F1 color. You still see this color on Type R Honda's these days.

Ral 9010 comes close too.

It is getting too cold now overhere (winter) to spraypaint, so in spring I'll finish it off ...

Guys, why convert to RHD when the car is over 30 years and can be registered in NSW anyway, as it is, LEAVE IT ORIGINAL!!! ;)
If I had the dosh, I would buy and leave as LHD, would make for an even more interesting car, particularly at Car Shows ETC. :D
