Yeah, the Forester motor finally chucked it in. Yep, the one that was rebuilt at 120,000ks dragged itself reluctantly to 300,000. :( Rubbish lemon :x
I know it's a long shot, but someone might have a mate who knows somone who........Anyway, we'll consider motor, motor & box, or preferably whole car & pref 2004 onward 2.5 lt sohc.


Or hey, I can supply a cheap stuffed Forester...........

Try pickles or fowles auctions the market for smashed car is bad or in your case good :D the word is 4cyls go for around $300. They are on line just google them. You can bid online you just have to register.

A T-Boned one sold in Sydney today on Pickles for $5250. One in Canberra yesterday for $7700. (Light damage) Ideal, but a little high for us at the mo.
Sounds like I should check Qld.? Maybe there are plenty with all the weather you've been having!

Sorry to give you a bum steer then. We have been towing for a long time now and it's only in the last 6 months that some insurnce company's have chosen to dispose of some cars as it was not worth them sending the car to auctions due to low prices.
