Florian homing beacon: WORKIN'...A...TREAT! Matt's mirror at the minute: Tracy's look a bit more this way: Car is a one-family-owner. The seller said, "Aunty Mary bought it new, then her son inherited it, then it passed to me". All original apart from some touch-ups, the mags and G.T. Disc brakes up front. Speedo has been replaced, but he thinks less than 100,000 miles. Books in the glovebox, workshop manual on the front seat, toolkit & wheelchocks in the boot. Original wheels & hubcaps (+ spares) supplied. Now I can start a thread in 'My Isuzu'. The white car is actually the 'spares' car, bit IS a bit too good to wreck. There's a bit of a stash of other parts given in too. I.....AM.....STOKED! Very cheers, Matt.

mrflibbles wrote: come on you know i need more pics of it and anything else florian related.... Happy to oblige mate! But I haven't had much of a chance to get more yet! "Aunty Mary" needs a good clean-up & polish, and the master cylinder was leaking (in being sleeved a.t.m.). A service wouldn't go astray either and..... well thats about it, I think. so soon, real soon. Cheers, Matt.

Yeah Geoff, I wonder? It is a small Isuzu world. The mags are fairly unusual I think - can't remember the last set I've seen like them. They're 14" a-la Florian standard. (I reckon they look right at home.) Anything's posible! Cheers, Matt.

they are still about the place, i am just having a great deal of trouble being in either the right place or at the right time!
but all good things come to those who wait or so they say?
she should come up a real treat. do reckon they look better in a colour myself. the blue looks real good on them.

I placed an absentee bid, but actually made it to the auction, and it didn't reach my bid (i.e. I was the highest bidder). I went to collect my winnings and was told I didn't win!?! Me thinks MGS sold it to a mate of theirs on the sly, as these joints tend to do.

yeah a red one would be welcome as my first florian was red, and the wifes pop had a red one that she remembers fondly. There was a red one for sale down wingfield way about 6 or so years ago was fairly distinctive as the wheels were painted post box red to match the car. was 600 at the time for a fairly solid car, must try and find the pics i had of that one! A red one is the only way i will be allowed to get another florian! (and then id probably have to give up my ratty bellett!)
