Has anyone seen the Ayrton Senna movie ? Still feeling a little moved several days later. Like many of you, it is an era of F1 which was part of our lives. There was some fairly confronting footage. Makes you realise how raw and unsafe those things were, and in the fearless quest for speed and pushing new boundries, those men who enjoyed the thrill only to endure the ultimate sacrifice.
Another historic epic is showing on ONE tonight "The worlds fastest Indian". Looking forward to it.

Hey Bruno,
I saw the movie last Monday night; yeah it was an amazing documentary.
If David Stratton and Margaret Pomeranz from The Movie Show can give it a massive thumbs up, given they are about as enthusiastic about cars as a dog is with baths, then it truly is a work of art.
Having seen it I can only agree; I normally don't really pay much attention to F1 racing and really only went to the AGP in Adelaide to see all the awesome support races (and more than once the championship was already run and won by the time Adelaide rolled around at the end of the race calendar), but I was completely transfixed.
However, it is like watching the movie Titanic or a documentary on Jim Morrison; you know how it's going to end and it does not end well.
If you don't check it in the cinemas, don't worry about renting it; just BUY it. You will cherish it forever.

saw it on the 2nd nite showing.... and yep, it did exactly the same Bruno. funny thing is we all know how the story ends, but i could really feel my heart beating in the last in-car pictures. personally, i never really liked Senna himself. sure, he was fast, probably the best, but in my book there's a fine line between risking your own life to win, which is an individuals choice, but to risk the life of someone else's to still win is another thing.... and he did that a few times. mind you, the movie does show alot of the other side of Senna, and the "behind the scenes" stuff was very interesting!! while some of it was confronting, the old cliche of "that's motorsport" rings true in many ways, but they could have shown a hell of alot more footage of the crash scene.... have a look on youtube.... especially when they take his body away from next to the car.... if youre game.... i did warn you tho!

Not too keen on seeing the you tube footage thanks, Brett. Though in the movie the doctor said there were no other injuries to his body but when the helmet came off, it was obvious the head traumer was fatal.
