Hi guys,

Bay to Birdwood Classic juggernaut is rolling around again!

If you've been a previous entrant, you'd have your forms already; due date for returning of forms is:

5 August 2011 at the LATEST!!!!

They do not take late entries! Ever!

I hope to have three cars in it this year:

RatBellett
Wasp
Florian

Poor Florian missed out 2 yrs ago, having arrived from NSW a week after the Bay to Birdwood Classic/Adelaide Bellett Nationals double header!

If you're keen to roll in together again (strength in numbers!) then I'm keen as well! Unfortunately it won't be anything like last time, with the special Bellett section and 25 cars from across the country.... but it will still be pretty awesome I'm sure!

PR91 and 65Bellett will be coming over for the event; PR91 will drive one of my cars (might stick him in the Wasp; he needs to know how they REALLY drive like... not his sports ute that now features on the Goddammned Wasp Japanese Wikipedia page, no less! - http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%81%84%E3%81%99%E3%82%9E%E3%83%BB%E3%83%AF%E3%82%B9%E3%83%97)

65Bellett is looking to drive his Datsun.... so maybe we'll keep him at the back.

I reckon we should meet up at the Harbourtown car park; perhaps near the McDonalds or something, fairly early.

We've got a bit of time to think about it.....

Cheers guys.

Get on board!

Dave

as dave said, us mexiacans are invading! will be good to catch up with all the crow eating bellett heads!

many thanks to dave for the use of his Wasp. while we (naomi and myself) will be driving over for the weekend, it won't be in my GT or Wasp. the XR8 gets the nod....
but.... with some luck.... we'll be towing something a bit different over as well to sit in dave's Wasp on the day for a laugh.
stay tuned!

oh, and 65bellett (big gav) isn't bringing the big datto over now, but is hoping that his 1970 enfield bullet is done and there.

see u there.

well my car is registered but i wont make it as my son has arranged a weekend for us in the Gippsland.
of course it had to be THAT weekend!!!
so maybe my mate will be driving it or maybe my daughter. She is also very keen as GT2 will remember when she saw him driving the GT and made all sorts of fuss and took heaps of photos :)

so roll on next B2B and i should be there with maybe more than one car!

Sorry you can't make it Oz, but sounds like the spirit lives on. I remember the day well. Not unusual to be followed through the traffic for a closer look, but this time i had no idea there was a significant connection. Your daughter would have seen it in fine form and tune on a perfect stretch of highway.

I'm registered too, but might ask to be a passenger if beastie not going by then. Possibly even be hounored to drive another one for the day. Apparently you can notify the officials to change the vehicle entry as long as it's within the same period ,spirit, etc. Liz wants to experience B to B this year as well. I've convinced her what a hoot it is.

As for Mexicans invading................BRING IT ON COMPADRES !!

UPDATE!

Got my stuff in the post! Entries 1498, 1499 and 1500!

I entered in the LAST WEEK, because I'm a moron. However, got in so that's the main thing.

We gonna meet beforehand, say somewhere around the McDonalds at Harbourtown? I'm sure plenty of others have that idea, but it's a big car park...

Hi all, sorry I haven't been online for a while, very slack.

Yep I'm good to go for 2011 B2B, entry 1083, so not as slack as Dave... though not nearly as cool as having entry #1500!

Also spent the extra for the cancer research ribbons - nice and gay. Gay as in brightly coloured...

Yes to meeting early at Macca's, how early given gates open 6am????

Hey guys, sorry to get so late onto this.

Sorry to hear how so many of you can't make it; Mr Flibbles I'm especially disappointed as we may have got two Florians together for the first time since about 1972!

Hope the place has a big shed!

I reckon hit it hard and hit it early; I'm keen to meet up about 6:30 (blurgh) at McDonalds Harbourtown to line up at about 7:00am at West Beach.

Early, I know, but it WILL be awesome.

Anyway, I'll be there come hell or high water!!

Cheers,

Dave
