Hi all,

At last, the 2012 Bellett calendar is available. This is the A4 size, full colour, spiral bound, page per month, wall calendar, printed on glossy quality paper (but don't be surprised if it turns up on light card). Thanks to all who helped with pics, including Brett, Dave, Gerry, Liz and Greg, Matt, Mark, Timo, Kerry, Gary Carter, John Doutch and Rod Eimes (from outside the forum). We have a pretty good selection of Belletts, GTs and Wasps with international representation and a bit of a motorsport flavour - also including a Florian and a 117. Small low-res versions of the final pics may be previewed at the following link.
http://s122.photobucket.com/albums/o262 ... ar%202012/

The cost is $US12.50 per calendar, plus shipping. This is a cheap as I can get it. For shipping, Lulu are quoting me $8 for shipping one calendar, $9 for two, $10 for three

Next, how do you get one? Well, for Aussies, the good news is that this year the publisher (Lulu self publishing in the USA) opened a printing office in Australia. So for those in Australia, postage costs are down, and now it makes sense for you to buy direct from Lulu rather than go through me, it will be quicker and cheaper. For postage within Australia, Lulu are quoting me $8 for one calendar, $9 for two, $10 for three etc.
Even with my bulk buying discount, I can't save enough to cover the cost of double postage. Lulu accept credit cards or paypal. You will have to register with them but that only takes a couple of minutes. So, here is the link where you can buy the calenders direct:

http://www.lulu.com/product/calendar/is ... 2/18669552

For those Overseas, it will also be best to buy direct from Lulu, using the link above. You'll probably find that your calendars are printed and shipped from somewhere in Europe or the USA rather than Australia.

Ready in plenty of time for Christmas, and an ideal gift :D And guaranteed free from mazda rotaries

Cheers, Vic

PS if there really is no way you can buy direct from Lulu, contact me (quickly) and we will work something out so that you can get what you need.

Hi.
When visiting you Xmas calendar page a pop-up window, most likely including worm or virus, appears to our screens. Browser begins to act abnormally. Can you check the situation?
...Calender look`s great

Sticks - thanks for your comments, hope you enjoy it!

Brett - Ditto, plus you are right about not enough months. In the end it always comes down to choosing between a few good pics and it's 'seat of the pants' stuff - just a feel for what goes together. Both the Sandown Pic and the GT Prince/Bellett pic are stored on the hard drive. And as for next year, I figure it's a must as long as there is interest, after all it's the Bellett's 50th birthday!

Timo - which site is causing the pop-up? I have used both Photobucket (for previews) and Lulu (for purchases) for 5 years with no previous issues. Let me know which is causing the problem and I will take it up with them.

Cheers, Vic

I agree Vic, It looks excellent again.
I like that Pom, it's obvious that the present I (and you) would like most would be just as cherished by ANYONE else!
Ordering soon! (As distinct from last year, Vic! (; )

Thank you, and especially for including Aunty Mary and the 117!
Cheers, Matt.

Thanks everyone, it's great to get some positive feedback. Having them printed in Australia has made the delivery time a heap better, last year they were printed OS and I was waiting 3 weeks.

Are they coming through printed on light card? all the Hillman ones did.

I have heard of one being delivered with a picture printed upside down, This has to be a printers error and is very annoying. As far as I know it's the first time it has happened in the 6 years I have been organising calendars through them. Anyhow if something like this has happened you should be able to get a replacement from the printer and if you can't, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Cheers, Vic

Hi all,

I bought a few calendars, and have one (1) left over which is surplus to my needs. If anyone would like it, I can supply (including postage) for $20, about the same price as buying and shipping from the publisher. I can post straight away which means you will get it before Christmas. Please let me know ASAP if you want it.

If I can't sell it through the forum, would there be any objections to me putting it on eBay to recover my cost and to make sure it gets used instead of sitting around all year collecting dust?

Cheers, Vic

Sorry Vic, wont be purchasing this year but have admired the photos anyway. No objections here to putting on ebay. Someone will end up with visual enjoyment AND value for money.

Cheers, and a Merry Xmas to you,

B.
