I'm innocent...I'm rolling in Studebaker's at the moment, so seriously doubt there's much threat of a Bellett darkening my door this life time.

for the Aust Champs it must have them. they were held down here a couple of weeks ago and it was definitly a requirement. some smaller events that aren't for Champ status don't need them tho.

greg, march is a round of the NSW state hillclimb champs, and i think u can run these without a cage and logbook.... but don't quote me on that! nov is definitly the Aust champs, and i'll be at that, which defintly needs a cage and book.

hey Greg... find out which way around the track the event in March is being run mate. i've found out the usual way they run hillclimb's there is BACKWARDS to the 'normal' race direction, starting just down from Forrest's Elbow and going back up the hill to finish at Skyline. the best part of the Aust. Champs in Nov is they are running the normal way around, starting on Mountain Straight and finishing at Skyline again... meaning it takes in all the best bits of the circuit and is longer than they usually do!

PR91 wrote: with all the cars changing hands in the last week or 2 you'd think the rumours would be flying thick and fast... but not about whether there have been cars moving around, more like who has sold what, and too who...! Time has come to clear up the Gossip........eh eh eh I mean Rumors The teal GT known as Isabell has been sold, it is up to new owner or owners to devulge their identity, I will say that the car is still in Qld and the owner is known to most of us on Bellett.net, and the Nationals, and this is not his first GT. The second rumor that is true is, Christine now has the custodial ownership of the Bev Cole blue sedan. it is a little ripper, and a car that I thought would never change hands. must admit that the offer to buy, and persistant hounding for this car from Bev and George has been in place since the first time we sighted it. Now the two Cole cars are back in the same stable, GEORGE (the wasp), and yet to be named sedan, Name ideas are Christabell or Bluebell. Will have to stop replacing cars as running out of names with Bell in them, maybe could start with ""ett". hmmm have to work on that one.. Georgett ????? to be continued.....................................
