g'day everyone.
as some.... well very few actually, are members of the BCCV, i thought it's time to advise you of the latest news from "mec-i-co" for everyone.

feb 5 was the club's AGM, and the club has seen a virtual total change it managment.
with thanks to the departing committee, the new committe are as follows:

President: Brett (PR91)
Secretary: Steve (BELLETT69)
Tresurer: Peggy (BELLETT69's better half)
Public Officer: Peggy
Spare Parts: Steve

General Comm:
Craig (toomanybelletts)
Peter (bellett66)
Peter (goldie)
Greg

now, it's no secret that the BCCV has been in a state of "non-activity" for a while now, which is a shame and i have my own thoughts as to why this has happened, but we feel that we have the team required to re-build the club to be bigger and stronger than it's ever been, and as Pres., i feel it's my job to make sure that happens, as the ways of old can not continue in today's Bellett world.
we'll be setting our plans in motion very soon, and it will be an exciting time for ALL Bellett people.... so i ask that those of you who are BCCV members please re-new your membership for 2012, those of you that were members of the past please re-join and become part of the "new" BCCV, and those that have never been a member please consider joining as the club WILL become much more active and involved an all things Bellett in Australia!

if anyone has any BCCV related queries, please contact me and i'll help you out.
watch this space!! ;)

*EDIT:
as of only minutes ago, the club has an email address that Steve and myself will be keeping regular check of.
please feel free to contact us at:

bellettclubvic@hotmail.com

*EDIT #2:
please find attached a copy of the new BCCV membership form with amended details.

Cheers Brett

Good to hear some new blood is going to get things moving. Can you also check my current membership as it may have expired.
I would certainly like to renew it.

Regards

Chris Browning

quick edit done with the new club email address and amended BCCV membership form attached.

and please note:
for this time only, as a gesture of good will between the BCCV and it's possible members to try to "right the wrongs of the past", we are waiving the $10 new member joining fee for any former BCCV member that wishes to re-join, and also for any user of bellett.net, so that means you only pay for your requested level of membership.
this offer won't last forever tho....

cheers BCCV-ers!

Stephen, can you post the new membership form in .DOC format also as not everybody has the latest Word program, to read a DOCX file format. Including me.

Oz, thanks for posting the converter; I've been meaning to get that for ages and always make Ross send me stuff as .doc, much to his chagrin.

Brett, good to hear you've taken the reigns; you of all people know that car clubs need work to maintain them and most if not all go through peaks and troughs; especially with such a long history.

With your renewed energy and the support of your team of Bellettheads, everyone here at Bellett.net are hoping you're entering a peak!

I've emailed my wife to ask her (nicely) to print off the membership form... no printer at home.

The cheque is in the mail*!

Dave

*seriously, nobody has cheques any more... oh except you Brett

There is an option (save as) to save as ,DOC file.
That is easiest way to do it. Many people do not have the latest software.

Dear Mr. President and good committee members who are taking the big step forward. I'm sure all other Bellettheads, including myself, being involved in Bellett'ness in some form or another at differing levels, will appreciate some consolidation of this strong following Australia wide, and internationally. You have our collective support.

Thanks again, and good luck,

B.

btw, really dig the water mark on the membership form, 8-)
