It was originally Glacial Blue (it still has the paint code on the bonnet) but faded almost to white. It's still Glacial Blue (if you've ever seen a picture of an ice cave in a glacier you'll understand the reference). I kept it the same colour. She's a sweet little thing but doesn't like change so she's completely stock as the day she was born (except she's now got some GT mirrors, courtesy of Klinkhammer Motors, because I couldn't get sedan ones). I did all the panels.sanding, rubbing back and any sundry labour and a bloke called Dave Mills who is an experienced auto painter (I nearly said old) put the paint on in his shed. It was done in two-pack. Took it down there on a trailer and brought it back home to bolt it back together. At the moment she's not that happy because she hasn't got a head. Her original head died the other day and it's getting rebuilt (waiting for exhaust valves).

I thought that there was a possibility that it may have been the N12. I've done a check on the part number quoted. All distributor part numbers start with 22100 except for the n13 as it is a Delco and they use the GM no. 0M000, the last 5 no's supercede up to 0M003. I looked through all the Australian vehicles imported or built around 1986. When I say Australian, I'm referring to vehicles built in Japan to export here to comply with our ADR's, or were assembled here in Oz. Answer. Zilch, nothing, nought, nout. I then checked the Japan production lists. Surprise. N12 Pulsar. E15s engine for Automatic. Built 5/82 to end of production. There is another possibility that it was fitted to the Holden Astra.LC series where Holden may have used that part number. Nissan & GMH changed to electronic ignition in 1986. Around 10 years ago Nissan deleted a lot of their old part numbers. When this happened, so did the supercessions. I'll have to find the old microfiche sheets and fire up my trusty reader and do some checking. Hey!.This is fun. I'm always searching for information and enjoy passing it on. NOTES. ---- Pulsar or LC series Holden Astra. Hitachi distributor. Cap is held down by 2 screws. As far as I'm aware, all electronic dizzy caps are held down by 2 screws. Not side clips. There is no condensor on the outside.

went to my local pick a part wreckers on Sat. Hundreds of cars. No N13's and models all mixed over the yard so tough to find anything else unless very lucky.
