no, its not coming here, just watching to see what happens....... at 20secs to go, auction CANCELLeD !!
as I said they were asking 680000yen for it at the yard.... it fell short of that, so they pulled it
the car had a full stainless exhaust system on it and possibly reco engine. BUT severe rust visible in the rear pan..... and probably eslwehere but it seemed like a reasonable car in auction pictures.
Well done with the 117 coupe. Looks great. There are quite a few around in japan and not all that dear (there)

Here's another one.... GTR this one has been up for auction weeks ago and apparently sold but now appears again....... The Japanese seems to like playing games. http://www.importmonster.com.au/view?url=http://page6.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f110470822&thumb=http://auctions.c.yimg.jp/img333.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/users/9/8/3/1/udb10167-thumb-1336814658890953.jpg&title=1600GTR%20S45they are asking about 1880000Yen on their dealer page... about $24,000 + ship

the chime rings at 105 but the fun continues to 180 I leave you alone for a few minutes.................... So, you've given it a run then? It's real prurty, and I think I'm turning And full rego type plates, is this going to be your daily drive Aunty Monn?? 5 speed or auto-magic? Just to prepare you, if you take this car to shows, people will walk past Cadillacs, Porsches and Austin Healeys to come up & say "I've never seen one of these before, What is it?" as they scan for badges. (Recent experience at Tumut) Gary Carter said the other day, "I just had to walk away from it" at the Cowra old van nationals. Time to make an info board! Better ring you tomorrow, I gots to get DETAILS! Very Excitement Cheers, Matty.

ok, ok, okgotta come clean! was taking my little flower, Monnica out for her mothers day lunch when she noticed a cool motorhome and then she said "heyyyy I think there is a 117 on the otherside of that motorhome!"...... ........well being just about at our lunch destination I wheeled around and made a beeline for the 117...of course!.........knocked on the motorhomes door and asked if the 117 was theres....the fellow was the owner of the motorhome and the 117.... nowww he wouldnt part with the 117..............so Gary drove the 117 home and brought the owner home also, following in his motorhome! he is now a bellet.net member and will be attending the nationals...ill let him introduce himself when he is ready. (hahaha........his story of meeting us may be completely different!) a very interesting man...... sooooooooooooo even though the silver sexy 117 is in our drive way.....we dont own it!...
