I noticed a Florian for sale in Wedderburn in Victoria. 67/68 year. Seems in reasonable condition.

Seems saveable if you're keen.

That's a 1969 model though. The 68s had the.smaller rear lights, flat headlights and a rear quarter windows that kicks up rather that staying flat along the belt line.

The 68s seem pretty.rare, even by florian standards - I know Dave m had one and oz must have wrecked one in the past as I spied some parts in his shed. I've never seen one although all the.contemporary.road tests seem to be 1968s.

So is anyone gonna grab it? Even for parts? It lost seems too good.for that.

Yeah, mostly complete, gotta be worth $500. About 7000 older than Aunty Mary.
Speedo looks to be a km/h swap-out.

Broaden your collection & stretch out in comfort with all that room!
Opportunity doesn't happen too often.

Cheers, Matt.

i thought about 500 would be fair, does it run?
if it was closer to me i would have considered it, just cant justify buying it and then spending that much on fuel to go get it.
would love a second one to hot rod!

Hmmmm, Florian TS - Now theres an  !
Black bonnet pannels & rear end trims, modify a 3 gauge KB dash, what else is there? Better check that brochure.................Ah, that grille........might not be so easy :?
Hmmm, GT motor? 5 speed? Or twin cam?

Well, nice to dream...

Probably have enough cars to fix

Cheers.

I’m surprised you guys didn't notice this car come up for sale again just before Christmas. It was plastered all over the Net, Gum tree, Cars for sale and a couple of others. It was for sale at the same time as another one was listed in Vic, Reall y its a Florian :) think the owner is mis-guided I quite liked that one as well, but out of my price range. I phoned the guy, did a deal and told him I would pick it up in the new year, what’s a 1000 KM’s from Newcastle to Wedderburn and another 800 to SA where I left it at my brothers. Oh well, time goes by and I picked it up last week and I’m very happy with it. I been looking out for a 74 model, but when my wife saw this one, and she is born in 69, she fell in love with it too, probably because it looks a little like my 74 LUV. I was happy to pay $500 for it. After picking it up. I headed to SA and called in on the way to see OzLuvTrucker, Top bloke. I learnt a lot and got some reasonable priced parts as well. You can see his comments on my Florian here. 69 Florian It was last reg in 94 and the guy told me it hadn't been started in the last 12 years, possibly longer. When I got to SA, I just put a battery in her, a little drop down the carb and she roared into life, I was very happy about this. Here are the Pics that were on EBay I’ll keep you posted as to how I’m going when I start to fix it up. Cheers, Chris
