sunday was the 6th round of the nsw hillclimb and the first time we managed to get the three teardrops out to play :D Glenn had some number plates made that caused a stir and the row we were on in the pitts got the name bellett boulevard that seemed to stick so a street sign is on order. We had a internal fight all weekend i set the pace keeping the pressure on a honda powered mini most of the weekend with my borrowed engine in front of it's rightfull owner untill the last run of the day it had a hissy fit off the start  well thats my story and i am sticking to it ;) ;) with a few mods to Lizzies also seen it not far off the pace it was a blast. At the end of the day the mini was only 1 second quicker and it's driver was impressed that we gave it a run for it's money.
Glenns car is off for a cage to be logbooked. With the other 2 cages being made.
I have been playing with a lsd set up with some modifycations will see a suzuki after market lsd fitted into a bellett housing   8-) :? . Time will tell the full story.

That's a fine line-up.

Looks like it could have been taken decades ago, which is super-awesome.

Also, I'm keen to hear about the Suzuki LSD possibility... sounds rad.

Dave a b&w just to put you back in the day.
The lsd set up is a after market style there is a simular one on the market called a phantom grip the one i am using is 1 that is made for the suzuki they laod the planiterys at 90 ft pound and work quite fine in the suzuki up 170 whp. the one i am running has been used in a rx7 for compitition use and the owner is quite impressed so our small horse power should be fine, during the research i have cut a centre in half to obtain the correct messurements and whin i took it to the retailer he said if i manage to get it to fit it would be a lot more effective than the suzuki due to almost twice the surface area.
I have had the plates machined to suit a bellett but the suiki set up it has bolts to samwich it in i have lost this so i may be a struggle to fit it. i am hoping to get the crown wheel bolts to pull it in other wise longer bolts to start it or press :?:
I will post picks when i pick it up.

The lsd set up has been machined to suit the bellett diff next week or so i will fit it and then see how it works. This system puts 90ft pound load on the planitery gears.

fast64 had them done. Mark aka pombellett sent a pair of overalls as well as some sew on badges for our race suits. Glenn had them scanned and put on a sticker and his son is in the commercial kitchen trade so he made stainless backing plate. His eh has class of 64 on them so this was a little with a bellett personal touch.

The lsd set up is in and seems to be working fine it is quite tight and requires a tyre leaver with 1 short shaft in the vise to bench test it. on damp gress in the padock you can seee the plow makes, on concrete and firm gravel skids it's laying rubber both wheels :D and drives nice on the road. Time will tell it's another 3 weeks untill we put it on the track but it looks that promissing the second diff for Lizzies car well under way.
